2025 Tateyama Kurobe Harutabi "Snow Canyon Walk"

One of the world's snowiest regions, Tateyama Murodo. The "Snow Canyon" is formed when the snow piled up in the highland bus road is cleared. The Snow Canyon is particularly high in the section about 500m from Murodo. You can enjoy it from spring until just before summer. Experience the breathtaking view!

Access

About 40 minutes from Tateyama IC on the Hokuriku Expressway to Tateyama Station, or about 70 minutes from Azumino IC to Ogizawa Station

Access (Public)

Take a train from JR Toyama Station or Dentetsu Toyama to Tateyama Station, or take a local bus from JR Shinano-Omachi to Ogizawa. Transfer vehicles and get off at Murodo.
