Yuka Shimizu Tsumami Zaiku Accessory Exhibition

The traditional technique 'Tsumami Zaiku', which has its origins in the Edo period and was used for Kabuki decorations. This exhibition features works by Yuka Shimizu, who presents various accessories decorated with Tsumami Zaiku. This exhibition's theme is to fuse foreign elements such as Asian ethnic costumes and French noble accessories, while centering around the world of the artist's inspiration, Takehisa Yumeji and Taisho Modern. Approximately 60 pieces will be displayed, including art pieces, hairpins, earrings, and necklaces.
