【Cherry Blossom Viewing】Daineiji

Known as one of the finest Zen temples in Soto School, it is also recognized as the final resting place of the Ōuchi clan, who flourished in Yamaguchi during the Muromachi period. During the season, the temple is illuminated at night, showcasing the beautiful blooms of Somei Yoshino and Yaezakura cherry blossoms. The sight of the landscape bathed in cherry blossom colors is stunning, attracting many tourists not only from the city but also from outside every year.
