Sakura Viewing at Enbashiyama Park

A beloved cherry blossom spot for the citizens
Enbashiyama Park is located in the hilly area of southwestern Hiroshima City and features a unique terrain formed by the filling of islands by a delta. The park houses the Hiroshima City Enbashiyama Weather Museum, which preserves the former Hiroshima Meteorological Observatory, a building that suffered from the atomic bomb. From the park, one can enjoy a panoramic view of Hiroshima City as well as views of the Seto Inland Sea, Aki no Kofuji (Nishino Island), and Miyajima. In spring, many cherry blossoms bloom, making it a popular cherry blossom viewing spot for the citizens of Hiroshima City.
