New National Theatre Opera 'La Bohème'

A beautiful love lit in a Paris attic.
Set in 19th century Paris, this coming-of-age opera portrays the fleeting love between the poet Rodolfo and the seamstress Mimi, as well as the impoverished yet free lives of young artists dreaming of tomorrow's success. The encounters expressed in famous arias like "Che gelida manina" and "Mi chiamano Mimi" create some of the most beautiful love scenes among all operas. The bustling Christmas atmosphere of the Latin Quarter, a beautifully tragic quartet of lovers deciding to part, and the tear-jerking final scene offer many highlights. ■ Notes There may be changes to performers and others due to unavoidable circumstances.
