A 250m long, 5m wide wisteria tunnel
In the Japanese garden of Nijinosato, the 'wisteria' is in full bloom. Along the 250m long and 5m wide wisteria arbor in the Japanese garden's Hana Shoubu-en, there are various types of wisteria planted, including Nodana Nagafuji and Showa Shirofuji, allowing visitors to stroll beneath the purple wisteria arbor that exudes a refreshing fragrance during the peak season. Typically, early May is the best viewing time, and the sight of the light purple and white flower clusters swaying in the fresh greenery has become a seasonal feature of the early summer in the Japanese garden.
