When it comes to fireworks festivals in Gifu City, there are two: the National Selection Nagara River Fireworks Festival organized by the Chunichi Shimbun and the National Fireworks Festival organized by the Gifu Shimbun. In 2023, the two fireworks festivals were merged and renewed as the 'Gifu Nagara River Fireworks Festival'. This is the third year of the event, showcasing a light performance that fills the night sky. Enjoy the powerful fireworks. *Entry to the viewing area is only permitted with a ticket, so please purchase tickets in advance. For details, check the official website.
