Regular Exhibition "Prayer and Rituals, and Toward the Community"

Introducing the past of the museum and the charm of Sagano
In the First Exhibition Room / "The Remnants of Donated Items and Exhibitions", we reflect on past special exhibitions and planned exhibitions, and introduce some of the research results of donated materials from Pure Land Buddhist temples. In the Second Exhibition Room / "The Beginnings of Sagano Studies", materials related to the history, culture, and traditional performing arts of the Sagano and Hirasawa areas around the museum's location are displayed. The adjoining theater screens traditional performing arts that have been performed in the past. Also exhibited is the "26 Years of Achievements of the Biology Club at Kyoto Prefectural Kitagawa High School", featuring panels created by high school students.
