An immersive experience show that weaves light and poetry against the backdrop of Matsue Castle enveloped in a sea of clouds. Enjoy a special climbing experience to the national treasure keep as you traverse the sea of clouds amidst fantastical performances. The harmony of light, sound, and imagery creates a space that feels as if you've entered a world of ink wash painting. Matsue Castle, standing by Lake Shinji, has spun history as a symbol of the water city. Experience a unique time here as the soundscape that our predecessors may have listened to is recreated in three-dimensional audio. ■Notes Expo-related event.

Note

The event days are weekends and holidays during the period (excluding August 2 and 3), July 8, and August 9 to 17 (a total of 21 days). Performances will be on a 20-minute cycle starting at 19:20. The final entry is at 20:30. Night sessions are at 19:30 / 19:40 / 20:00 / 20:20 / 20:40. *There is also a daytime session with only the sea of clouds. Admission is free (additional fees are required to enter the main keep).

Fee

In principle, advance purchase of a "date specified ticket" is required for admission. Date specified tickets (entry tickets): Adults / 1,000 yen, elementary and junior high school students / 500 yen, preschoolers / free. Same-day tickets (300 yen extra) are sold only if there are openings in the reservations.

12 minutes from the "Matsue West" IC on the Sanin Expressway.
