Aiko Sato, who has won numerous literary awards, has reduced her social interactions and spent her days in gloom after turning 90 and stopping her writing. Then, a middle-aged editor named Yoshikawa brings her a request to write an essay. The essay, written with raw anger at the world, titled 'It’s all so annoying!' unexpectedly becomes a huge hit, and Aiko's life takes a dramatic turn at the age of 90...
