Okayama Museum Yoga

The Okayama Museum yoga event held in front of the large mural "Wind and Time," featuring the deities of wind and thunder, is a morning event that allows you to prepare your mind and body while feeling the powerful energy emanating from the art. Three instructors will take turns each day. Participation perks include an invitation ticket to the museum (valid until December 7, 2025), bottled mineral water, free rental of yoga mats, and access to the foot bath café and garden stroll after the lesson. Pre-registration is required. Comfortable clothing and sun protection items are recommended on the day.

Note

The event will be held on September 7 (Sun), 14 (Sun), and 21 (Sun), 2025. Registration is from 6:40 to 7:10. In case of rain, the venue is planned to be changed (in case of cancellation, it will be announced on the Okayama Museum website, social media, and by phone).

Yoga participation fee: Adults and university students 3,500 yen; junior high and high school students 2,500 yen (including tax)

Visitors of the museum, Kaika-tei, foot bath café, and museum shop are charged 500 yen per visit

About 20 minutes from the Hakone entrance IC of the Nishishō Bypass and Odawara Hakone Road via National Route 1

Access (Public)

About 20 minutes by Hakone Tozan Railway from "Hakone Yumoto" station. Take the Hakone Tozan Bus or Izu Hakone Bus and get off at "Kowakuen," then walk a short distance.
