Calligraphy Meeting (April)

You will 'copy' the printed characters of the Heart Sutra and the Yakushi Sutra by tracing them with a brush pen. Your own handwriting is acceptable. You can also do 'shabutsu' (drawing of Buddha). Use colored pencils to add color to the line art of the Buddha. Do it with a calm mind to purify your heart. Participants are required to make a reservation by the day before. A monk will explain and participate with you. You can join comfortably even if it is your first time. The time required for calligraphy varies among individuals but is about 1 hour on average. Finally, we will have tea together.
