Life During Wartime: Viewing Life Eighty Years Ago through Objects and Testimonies

An exhibition titled 'Life During Wartime' will be held at the Old Yoshikawa Family Residence in the Yamato Folklore Park, where the Nara Prefectural Folklore Museum is located. This exhibition focuses on the lives of people during wartime, showcasing items that were actually used and words from those who lived at that time. In particular, by restoring the way of life in the old house, the atmosphere of the wartime period can be felt. Curators will provide explanations for about 30 minutes at 11 AM and 2 PM on weekends and holidays. ■Notes The main building is closed, so the exhibition is held at the Old Yoshikawa Family Residence in Yamato Folklore Park.

The opening days are every Tuesday to Sunday, July 21 (Monday, holiday), and August 11 (Monday, holiday), but the museum will be closed on July 22 (Tuesday) and August 12 (Tuesday).
