Aobayama Park is a park steeped in history and tradition, surrounded by the rich nature of the Hirose River and Aobayama. On the south side of the road leading to the main keep, there is 'Naganuma', which retains the strong remnants of a moat, and in spring, the cherry blossoms along the pond bloom beautifully. Additionally, the cherry blossom avenue leading towards Miyagi Prefectural Sendai Second High School transforms into a splendid sight known as 'Cherry Blossom Path' when in full bloom.

From Yagiyama Zoo Station, take bus number 3 towards Miyagikyo University/Aobadai (Naritasan) and get off at 'Sendai Castle Ruins South'.
