【Flower・In Full Bloom】Irises at Tsuruma Park

Let's enjoy irises in a historic park
Tsuruma Park opened in 1909 (Meiji 42) as the first park established by Nagoya City and celebrated its 110th anniversary in 2019 (Reiwa 1). It is a representative comprehensive park in Nagoya. You can enjoy plants of the four seasons, and the famous plants alongside cherry blossoms and roses are irises. About 20,000 irises greet visitors. From late May, when they are in full bloom, the Iris Festival is held. The nighttime illumination allows you to see the fantastical view of the iris pond. There are also many events such as iris tea ceremonies and flower picking experiences.
