July to August has an average maximum temperature of 25℃, cool winds at an elevation of 1,300m, and the scent of 50,000 lavender plants, making it a cool retreat about 2 hours from Tokyo! The peak blooming period is typically from mid-July to mid-August. The types and conditions of flowers differ at various spots from the entrance to the observation deck, so go for a walk throughout the flower-filled park. There are plenty of events during the opening period! The specialty is the refreshing lavender soft serve, which is eaten by one in two visitors. A super popular sweet that sells 60,000 pieces during the season!
