This exhibition is inspired by the World Expo, which showcases cultures, arts, and technologies from around the world. Works exhibited, such as the "Setsu Prefectural Scenic Illustrated Book" and the "Izumi Scenic Illustrated Book," were displayed at the 1867 Exposition Universelle in Paris. The "Great Japan Goods Illustrated Book," which depicts the production and harvesting of famous products in Japan during modernization and industrial development, was published in 1877, the year the first Domestic Industrial Exhibition was held. Let's enjoy works that enhance the experience of both Osaka and the Expo.
