Kitakami Tenshochi Cherry Blossom Festival

Kitakami Tenshochi, located by the Kitakami River, is one of the "100 Famous Cherry Blossom Spots" and one of the "Three Great Cherry Blossom Spots of Michinoku." In addition to the cherry blossom avenue that stretches for 2 kilometers from the Coral Bridge, it is said to have about 10,000 cherry trees of approximately 150 different varieties within the 293 hectares of Tenshochi Park, competing in beauty from the Somei Yoshino that begins to bloom in April to the Kasumi Sakura. During the period, traffic regulations will be implemented according to the cherry blossom blooming status, and shuttle bus services will be provided.
