Colors of Tableware - Kōzō Yoshida and Rosanjin Kitaōji

For the first time, approximately 80 works by ceramic artists centered around Rosanjin Kitaōji from the collection of art critic Kōzō Yoshida, who once lived in Chigasaki, will be exhibited on a large scale. Rosanjin, who researched and crafted vessels suitable for food and created unique works with his own worldview, along with the works of Shōji Hamada, whose retrospective Yoshida oversaw in his last year before retirement, and Shōji Kamoda, who incorporated modern design into traditional Mashiko ware, will be introduced. *The 'Yoshi' in Yoshida Kōzō is formally written with 'mouth' under the 'earth'. ■Notes Please refer to the website for related events.
