A quartet led by Mao Sone, known for simultaneous performances of trumpet and piano and dubbed "Jazz Two-Sword Style," expresses the charm of City Pop, which is attracting attention across eras and borders, through jazz. It proposes a new world view of "POP×BOP" that combines the image of "CITY BOP" with bebop style. The new hero of J-Jazz pays respect and homage to City Pop, which can be said to be a unique culture of Japan.
