Hina Dolls of the Wealthy Tanaka Family - Meiji Era Tazuru's Hina Decorations -

In this exhibition, we are displaying the hina decorations of Tanaka Tazuru, the eldest daughter of the 7th head of the Tanaka family, born in 1894 (Meiji 27). Tazuru's hina decorations are splendid, totaling about 260 pieces, including five pairs of imperial dolls, three court ladies, five musicians, and puppets themed on Kabuki and other subjects, along with various tools. You can see the hina decorations that have been carefully passed down through the ages. There are various hina dolls that cannot be seen in modern times, allowing you to feel both the culture of Japan at the time and the heartfelt sentiment towards children.

Closed every Tuesday. Open on holidays, closed the next day. Opening hours are weekdays from 11:00 to 15:30, and Saturday, Sunday, and holidays from 10:00 to 16:00.
