120th Anniversary Project of Vories' Arrival in Japan
In February 2025, we will celebrate the 120th anniversary of William Merrell Vories, the founder of the Omi Brothers Association Group and an honorary citizen of Omihachiman. The council will kick off a year of activities, starting with a symposium on February 2, the day Vories arrived in Omihachiman, including lectures and a journey tracing Vories' footsteps across North America, and will widely disseminate the significance of Vories' ideal of 'a society filled with love and peace.' ■Remarks Same-day tickets will be sold for 1,500 yen if there are available seats.
