The "Kanazawa Hyakumangoku Festival" is held to commemorate the achievements of Lord Maeda Toshiie, the founder of the Kaga Domain, who entered Kanazawa Castle and laid the foundation of Kanazawa. Among the highlights is the "Hyakumangoku Parade," a historical pageant that unfolds over approximately four hours. Other events such as the Hyakumangoku Odori dance and the Hyakumangoku Tea Ceremony take place, and the reenactment of the Kaga Domain's joyous celebration called "Bon-Shogatsu" will also continue. A grand event that colors the traditions and culture of Kaga Hyakumangoku! Worth seeing at least once!
