The Beautiful Night View City of Kitakyushu

On December 17, 2024, at the "Night View Summit" held in Kitakyushu City, Kitakyushu was re-certified as the number one city in Japan's new three major night view cities. Following the certification in 2022, it has been selected as the number one city in the country for two consecutive times. Known as the $10 billion night view, the appeal lies in the rich variety of night views, such as "Mount Sarakura," which offers a panoramic view of Kitakyushu City, the "Factory Night View Cruise" unique to a manufacturing city, and "Kokura Castle Bamboo Lanterns," where 30,000 bamboo lanterns envelop Kokura Castle.
