Summer Special Exhibition "Sozo no Kakera - A Story Woven from Sand by Shin Tanaka"

Shin Tanaka, a painter and picture book author who creates gentle and fantastical works using sand from the sea of Akashi. This exhibition is a large-scale showcase commemorating 20 years of activity as a picture book author, featuring original illustrations, paintings, and three-dimensional works all in one place. The venue also offers interactive works from the art unit plaplax, art that can be enjoyed through touch, and a space for leisurely reading picture books. It provides an exhibition where both adults and children can experience Shin Tanaka's world.
