41st Yakumo Float Parade

The Yakumo Float Parade, which began as a community handmade event, is counted among the 'Three Major Lantern Festivals of Hokkaido'. The floats parade around Yakumo town (Yakumo region), with each group showcasing their talent through taiko drums, traditional music, and dance. The spectacle of the floats parading is breathtaking. Visitors can enjoy various dances and handmade lantern floats by people of all ages from inside and outside the town for free.
