Special Exhibition: Toyozou's Chronicle of Friendships - Toyozou and Fujio Koyama

Toyozou and Fujio Koyama, the works and friendship of two.

Arakawa Toyozou Museum

8/29(Fri)~12/14(Sun) 09:30~16:00

Fujio Koyama, a leading researcher of Oriental ceramics representing the Showa era, coined the term "Rokukoyou" and contributed to cultural property-related projects and research. Koyama and Toyozou Arakawa, who he met in his youth, built a relationship that stimulated each other as both ceramic artists and researchers. They also deepened their friendship as close friends. This year marks the 40th anniversary of Toyozou's passing and the 50th anniversary of Koyama's. Along with the works and materials left behind, we will introduce the interactions and anecdotes of the two.
