The 40th Iidagawa Sagi Dance Festival

Come and see the traditional dance that has been passed down!
It is said that the Sagi dance was performed in front of the second lord of the Kubota domain, Satake Yoshitaka, when the Shinmeisha Shrine (now the Karamukawa Shrine) was established in the Kanbun 4th year. After being forgotten by the residents for a long time, the Sagi dance was revived in 1984 when it was mentioned in a travel diary by the poet Suwa Masumi. On the day of the festival, the adorable group dances of the young Sagi and the graceful performance of the Sagi dance (adult Sagi) will captivate the audience.
