Iiyama City Summer Festival of Hometown
A fireworks festival held every year on August 14th in Iiyama City, Nagano Prefecture. The national road that runs alongside the Chikuma River (Shinano River) is closed for the event, and the proximity of the launch site and viewing seats overwhelms spectators with the spectacle of the fireworks. Enjoy the collaboration of Iiyama City's hometown scenery and fireworks. Applications for paid viewing seats should be made to the Iiyama Chamber of Commerce. ■ Note Traffic regulations in effect.
