The 56th (2025) Jantokoi Uozu Festival (Serikomi Chōroku Street Procession)

Dance like a butterfly with a Hinomaru fan in both hands
The “Serikomi Chōroku” is a dance passed down by the blind entertainers of Echigo who spread the narrative across the country during the Edo period. The “Serikomi Chōroku Dance Street Procession” is one of the main events of the 'Jantokoi Uozu Festival'. The street procession features teams composed of people of all ages from various districts, companies, and organizations participating to enliven the festival. ■Notes Related to the Expo event
