A spring attraction between Nakayama Road Oukyu-juku and Hosokute-juku
Benzaiten Pond is located between Nakayama Road Oukyu-juku and Hosokute-juku. Every year, beautiful irises bloom, delighting the eyes of walkers along the Nakayama Road. Benzaiten Pond has a long history, as noted in Ota Nanpu's "Jinjitsu Kiko," which describes it as "a small pond with abundant irises, in the middle of which is the shrine of Benzaiten."
