31st All Japan Log Cutting Championship

A competition where two-person teams use a jumbo saw to cut logs as quickly as possible. The event will have three categories: General (any gender), Women, and Elementary School Students (grade 3 and above for each category). Prize gifts, mainly featuring local specialty products from Mishima, will be awarded to the top teams! All participants will receive a participation prize without exception! Bringing one broom and one dustpan per person is a condition for participation.

Take a bus from JR Nagaoka Station Ote Exit, platform 6, to Yobata, Miyazawa, or Wakino Town (all via Sekihara) and get off at 'Mishima Branch' - a 3-minute walk.
