Cherry blossoms bloom splendidly along the old banks of the Oi River and the Kawagoe ruins
Adjacent to the Oi River Kawagoe ruins, the old embankment behind the Shimada City Museum is filled with many blooming cherry blossoms in spring. The cherry blossoms at the Kawagoe ruins' river office reach their peak slightly earlier than those along the embankment. The tunnel created by the cherry trees planted on both sides is magnificent. You can fully enjoy the spring atmosphere.
