The third in a series of small exhibitions introducing discoveries made during the process of organizing and researching, features the archives of the Aijin Architectural Office, established in Kyoto in 1921 by Ichiro Sakajiri, continuing from the first exhibition. The work conducted at this office, which responded to the requests of clients, showcased unique expressions that differed from both cutting-edge architectural expressions that attract media attention and traditional buildings, enriching the daily lives of the people of Kyoto. The collection of documents that recorded this reality should serve as an important clue to understanding modern Kyoto.
