Special Exhibition "Learning Archaeology from the Movie 'Princess Mononoke' - Another Story That Also Existed in Ōno-jō City -"

While guided by the story of the movie "Princess Mononoke," actual archaeological materials will be displayed that appear in the story. Moreover, the 'Tatara' site, which is the setting of "Princess Mononoke," will be compared to the nationally designated historic site 'Ushikubi Sueki Kiln Sites' in Ōno-jō, serving as an opportunity to reconsider the relationship between nature and civilization, as well as between the environment and humans. Closed on Mondays (if Monday is a holiday or substitute holiday, closed the following weekday). Entrance is until 16:30. Kokoro no Furusato-kan opening hours are from 9:00 to 19:00.
