Contemporary Japanese Painting Exhibition Part 1 - Harumi Ito, Yuko Kishimoto, Fumiko Nakamura, Yoshimi Makino -

A group exhibition featuring four artists who continue their creative activities in contemporary Japanese painting based in Kyoto. Harumi Ito, Yuko Kishimoto, Fumiko Nakamura, and Yoshimi Makino studied under the Japanese painter Masashi Ishimoto at Kyoto City University of Arts and have been following their respective beliefs for nearly 50 years. This exhibition showcases about 20 works, including recent pieces by each artist, as well as collected works from Hamada City Museum of Art. We invite you to enjoy the diverse works that are painted with a heartfelt approach to the subjects from a feminine perspective at the venue.
