Saraki Cape Tulip Fair 2025
Colorful tulips blooming at the cape
The Kanrin Maru, built in the Netherlands during the late Edo period, served as a warship. Afterward, it became a transport ship for goods to Hokkaido and ran aground off Cape Saraki, eventually sinking. Cape Saraki has been developed into a park, featuring the Kanrin Maru Memorial and Kanrin Maru monument. During the event, a variety of colorful tulips will adorn the cape, and tulip sales will take place.
