In 1921, the 10th year of Taisho era, Hakushu Kitahara introduced the British nursery rhyme 'Mother Goose' as a single work in Japan. In this momentous year commemorating Hakushu Kitahara's 140th birthday, percussionist/composer Mizuki Aida undertook an unprecedented project over a span of three years, composing music for all 120 poems. The 120 Mother Goose rhymes breathe life into a world where both the healthy and the sick, the rich and the poor coexist. An expression of 'diversity' dreamed in the Taisho era!
