Gokuro Matsuri
"Nonki na Tousan", Gokuro Matsuri
This festival celebrates the exceptional talent of the comedian Gokuro Soganoya, who starred in the movie "Nonki na Tousan" and hails from Kamojima. It is a unique festival where people dressed as Gokuro parade through the city on the last Saturday of June every year. There are many parades with drum and flute bands and various stalls, making it an enjoyable event for people of all ages.
