Ootsuki Forest Kindergarten values the independence and curiosity of preschoolers, respects their desire to do what they want, and creates an environment where they can immerse themselves and be absorbed in activities. It is important for adults to be present who can accept both success and failure, and empathize with the words and emotions of young children. The way of playing is left to the free imagination of preschoolers, and adults provide necessary assistance when needed. Additionally, with the cooperation of local grandmothers, homemade lunch using local ingredients and traditional handmade snacks are also prepared. Capacity: about 15 people. ■Notes Participation is limited to preschoolers. No lunch or snacks needed.
