Sekin Mikuyukyu Procession

A traditional event held since the Edo period
An event held during the grand festival of the shrine (Higashi Shrine, Yunokawa Shrine, Otorii Shrine) that has been conducted since the Edo period. It is commonly referred to as the "Daimyo Procession" because of its resemblance to the daimyo's alternate attendance during the Edo period. You can see the procession at Higashi Shrine in Shimojō, at Yunokawa Shrine on the way, and at Otorii Shrine during the castle entry.
