Mongolia 'Let's protect the World Heritage Orkhon Valley!' Tree-planting Volunteer!

Let's protect the World Heritage Orkhon Valley!
The Orkhon Valley in central Mongolia has been recognized for its culture of nomadic people that has lasted for over 2000 years, the Erdene Zuu Monastery that dates back to the Mongol Empire, and its beautiful nature, and was registered as a World Heritage Site in 2004. However, recent deforestation and flooding caused by climate change have led to the loss of the valley's beautiful forest resources and grasslands, with desertification progressing. In this volunteer project, we will work with local NGOs to plant trees to stop the progression of desertification. ■Remarks The application deadline is August 8 (Friday). Please apply early.
