Raising children who inquire together with the community and parents
To create a society of the future, it is essential to think together with participants about "inquiry-based learning where children pose their own questions, think for themselves, gather information, and try to communicate their findings to others." Vice Principal Takahisa Miyake of Seto SOLAN Elementary School, which focuses on inquiry learning, will give a lecture on the theme of "developing independent and autonomous learners." Professor Naoko Murai from the Faculty of Developmental Education will also give a lecture on the theme of "raising children who inquire together with the community and parents." ■Notes Participation application is via the application form. Deadline: July 31 (Thursday) at 17:00, first come first served, limited to 200 people.
