Hiroshima Symphony Orchestra 2025 "Evening of Peace" Concert

80 years after the atomic bombing - Praying for peace through music
The Hiroshima Symphony Orchestra holds the "Evening of Peace" concert every year. This year, we welcome the world-renowned pianist Daniil Trifonov, and under the baton of musical director Christian Arming, we will present Rachmaninoff's Piano Concerto No. 2 and Mahler's Symphony No. 4. Marking the 80th anniversary of the atomic bombing, we aim to transcend various difficulties that divide the world and share the "power of music" to promote Music for Peace from Hiroshima to the world.
