Ibi Festival

Over 300 years of tradition - Festival of Miwa Shrine
The "Ibi Festival" boasts a tradition of over 300 years. The festival is held annually over two days, May 4th (preliminary performance) and May 5th (main performance), featuring a magnificent procession of palanquins and five stunning floats lined up in the Miwa Shrine grounds. The children's Kabuki performed on the floats captivates many spectators each year. On May 3rd, there will be a special presentation of children's Kabuki preceding the festival.
