Depicted Kyoto Confections

In an era when there was no technology like photography as in modern times, designs and paintings created by human hands are valuable materials that convey history to the present. In the world of Kyoto confections, there exists a "Kashi Zuancho" that conveys the traditions and techniques of each store, and the appearance of sweets is depicted by confectioners and painters, enchanting viewers. In this exhibition, four artists are invited to depict the world imagined from the seasonal Kyoto confections, designs, and names of sweets, and crafts based on the sweet designs will also be displayed. Workshops and other activities will also be held.

The museum is closed every Wednesday and Thursday. Admission is until 16:00. *There may be temporary closures for exhibitions or changes.
