Gujo Odori

Known for the lyrics "When I go out of Hachiman, even if it rains, I will wring out my sleeves," Gujo Odori has been sung and danced for over 400 years. It is the longest-running Bon Odori in Japan, taking place every year from mid-July to early September. The charm lies in the ability for both tourists and locals to dance together casually. The 'Uranbon Festival' from August 13 to 16 features the 'All-Night Dance,' creating even more excitement.
