World Kite Exhibition

At the Higashiomi Great Kite Hall, a special summer project titled "World Kite Exhibition" is being held in conjunction with the Osaka Kansai Expo, starting from July 19 (Saturday). The exhibition will be divided into three phases, featuring different works. This exhibition showcases valuable kites from 100 countries and regions, collected over more than 40 years of travel by Shigeru Sakaida, the director of the World Kite Museum in Tsu City, Mie Prefecture, along with panels documenting the scenes from when each kite was collected.
