The wisteria at Tokoji is an ancient tree that originates from the wisteria at Gyoouji, associated with the Noh play 'Kumano'. The wisteria tree, approximately 100 years old, spans 20 m square, and during the season, flower clusters of up to 1 m long bloom and droop with a sweet fragrance. Tokoji

From the Tomei Expressway 'Yoshida' IC, take National Route 150, approximately 8.5 km (about 20 minutes).

From JR Shizuoka Station, take the Shizutetsu Bus Express Shizuoka-Sagara Line for about 45 minutes, get off at 'Shirahama Beach Entrance' bus stop, and walk 8 minutes.
