The 17th installment of the "Kyoto Story" series, where the fourth generation of the famous lineage of Kyoto's Kodan, Tamada Gyokyūsai, tells stories set in Kyoto. The tales of Chikamatsu Monzaemon, who transformed a job that was despised at the time into an object of people's admiration, moving hearts with his stories throughout his 72 years of life. This narrative takes place in "unknown" Kyoto before he became a successful playwright. ※No entry for preschool children.
